From a Lifetime in the Game
I’ve been golfing since I was eight years old. My first club was a cut-down Spalding 2 1/2 wood — set up by my grandfather. I’ve spent decades playing and competing in the game. Like some golfers, my biggest challenge isn’t ability—it’s focus. Golf is a game of details and repetition. When routine is sharp, the game follows. When it breaks down, everything leaks. And one thing I’ve learned is this: the next routine starts the moment the last shot ends.
